Common questions
How is it different from Academic Writing?
Task 1 is a letter, not a description of a chart. Task 2 is an essay in both tests, marked the same way.
Do I get feedback on my writing for free?
Yes, on your first letter and your first essay. You get a band for each of the four criteria and corrections on your own sentences. After that, marking is part of Pro.
How accurate is the band score?
Our engine is calibrated to follow the official IELTS marking criteria as closely as possible, using state-of-the-art research models. Use your band to find what to fix next.
Where do the questions come from?
The letters and the essays come from the General Training tests in Cambridge IELTS 4 to 20.
