How to start

Leap English Pathways is coming soon to the apps in ChatGPT. These steps work once it is there.

Open ChatGPT
Find Leap English Pathways in Apps, or type @Leap English Pathways in a chat.
Ask for a question
For example: “Give me a PTE Re-order Paragraphs question.”
Answer in the card
Check your answer, and your mark shows in the card.
Press Explain my answer
ChatGPT explains your mark, part by part.

Connect your account

You need an account to have writing marked or to ask about your progress. ChatGPT asks you to connect, and you sign in or make a free account on our page.

When you press Allow, ChatGPT can:

Mark the writing you send from the chat
Save the answers you give in the chat to your practice history
See your practice results and progress
Your email, password and payment details stay with us

Disconnect at any time

In ChatGPT
Open Settings, then Apps. Choose Leap English Pathways and disconnect it.
In Claude
Open Settings, then Connectors, and remove Leap English Pathways.
Ask us, or delete your account
Write to us and we end the connection. Deleting your account ends every connection.

Your privacy

We never see your ChatGPT conversation
Answers you give without an account are not saved
The answer key reaches the chat only after you answer
Your email address is never shared with ChatGPT

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. The questions in the chat are free, and so is their marking. Writing is marked on your free account: your first answer in each PTE writing question type and your first IELTS Writing Task 1 and Task 2 are marked for free.

Do I need an account?

Not for the reading and listening questions. You connect a free account to have writing marked, to save your answers to your history, or to ask about your progress.

Which writing can I send from the chat?

PTE Write Essay, Summarize Written Text and Summarize Spoken Text, Write Email in PTE Core, and IELTS Writing Task 1 and Task 2. An answer can be up to 800 words.

Can ChatGPT see the answer before I do?

No. The answer key is never sent before you answer. ChatGPT is given the question, your answer and the marks only after the card has marked your answer.

Can I practise speaking in ChatGPT?

Not in the chat. A speaking question opens in our practice app, where you record your answer with your microphone.

What happens when my free mark is used?

The card tells you before you write. It links to the task in our practice app and to our page about Leap Pro.

Does it work in Claude?

Yes. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, add a custom connector and paste this address: https://api.leapenglishpathways.com/mcp
